As a series 7 student there are some changes to the Series 7 Study Guide involving regular way settlement of trades.
On September 5, 2017 settlement on regular way trades change from trade date +3 days to trade date +2 days.

Also some regulations have changed.
These changes have necessitated that I update some of the lessons and the quizzes to reflect these changes. These changes have been reflected in lessons 2, 6, 7, 16, 18, 24, 26, 27 and 32.
These changes are now incorporated into the 3rd edition of the Series 7 Study Guide. If you are a Gumroad customer already you got a notice yesterday of a new updated download which includes these changes.
In addition I am getting feedback from my students which indicates that there are more and more questions being asked on the exam about suitability. While I will not address that in this current edition a new edition (edition 4) will be released in 2018. Which will address issues around the idea of suitability of specific investments for your future clients. But while you are studying start asking yourself what specific type of investments would be suitable to different types of investors.
In the future the securities and exchange commission has indicated that it they intend to change regular way settlement trade date +2 days to eventually trade date plus one day.
In addition circuit breaker rules have been changed in the new set of lessons.
If you have any thoughts please drop me a note.
